Palin the Pretender: Going ‘Rogue’

Its interesting how Sarah Palin has captured the Republican party.  We all know she is going to run in 2012.  Nothing short of a miracle will prevent that and its no wonder she’s in there and up front of the TEA party.  She says the right things, flashes a few photos shooting a giant deer in Alaska, puts on a smile and says she’s pro war and anti abortion and boom!  She’s in.  But there is absolutely nothing about her that is rogue as most of her supporters will haplessly read in her book “Going Rogue: An American Life.”  The definition of rogue is “a deceitful and unreliable scoundrel” or “reckless or malicious behavior that causes discomfort or annoyance in others” or maybe “This word comprehends thieves and robbers, but is generally applied to such as cheat and defraud in mutual dealings, or to counterfeiters” according to Noah Webster.  That seems fitting enough, but most fans will simply see her as a hero against democrats.

Sadly, its just more of the same partisan politics with her as she blame’s Obama for America’s decline on Satuday, the 5th of February.  “The federal government is spending too much, borrowing too much, growing and controlling too much.”  These are her words exactly one year after she called for Revolution on the 5th of February, 2010!  Exactly one year ago she criticized Obama “for continuing to blame George W. Bush for the country’s woes” and then says that “We need a commander in chief” after she says the tea party “should remain leaderless and cautioned against allowing the movement to be defined by any one person.”  Yet, you will never hear Palin talk about George W. Bush’s war crimes.  In her eyes he did the right thing and protected Americans by killing and torture AND his policies aren’t any different than Obama’s!  In truth, government grew larger than it has ever been under Bush.  And don’t forget who bailed out Bear Stearns.  Bush even praised Paulson’s actions, which got us where  we are today.  Flat broke.  Obama is simply a continuation of Bush, but not according to partisan Palin politics.

For the record, Sarah Palin’s term in Alaska as governor saw more federal money spent per capita than her rhetoric would have you believe.  She is a spender and pretender and ‘rogue’ as much as Obama and her friend Bush, but not according to her barbaric rhetoric and certainly not according to Glenn Beck.  Her policies are much better seen through the lense of her term in Alaska where she certainly lead a rogue’s campaign to the fullest meaning of the word.  She is a rogue in every sense of the term next to the integrity of the Constitution.

On top of it all, it will be the complete ignorance and arrogance of the Christian vote that brings her in to office.  It will be to their shame if they waste their vote on Palin the Pretender.  The Christian vote is an easy win by Republicans.  Christians aren’t even an analytical force to be reckoned with.  They are just as fat and bloated as the rest of the country and only have to see someone with a degree, a sharp face, an anti-abortion slogan and they will give up just about anything.  I mean Christians don’t even understand the Constitution or have any idea what the Bill of Rights is.

Church goers are completely ignorant when it comes to voting on principle.  I’m sure they aren’t even sure why they are voting for her.
